The Margaret MacLeod Scholarship Award

Margaret has been a volunteer within our organization for over 25 years; she began with the club with her own children Steve & Joanna and also saw her grandchildren compete on our teams as well.

As recognition of Margaret's deadication and her contribution to the Eastside Soccer Club, the creation of this Scholarship Award is the membership's way of saying thank you.

In March of 2008, Margaret informed the club of her wanting to leave her post as our casino chairperson, to pursure some different interests.   Although her regular contribution will greatly missed, she will be long be remembered for her many years of volunteering with us in a varity of board positions.

This award will be presented annually to up to three current or past Members  (Player, Coach or Manager) of the Eastside Soccer Club, who are furthering their education in a Post Secondary Institution. (one Male, one Female, one Discretionary)
